Introducing Fastrack, your all-in-one solution for seamless food delivery operations. Picture this: a tool that not only lets you keep tabs on your delivery fleet but also gives you a bird's eye view of every order, item, and delivery personnel in real-time. No more guessing games, just pure efficiency.

💡Inspiration

In India, Swiggy and Zomato are the dominating food delivery platforms which are constantly competing to monopolise the Indian market. Unfortunately, this results in extended marketing and discount wars where the restaurant owners suffer, as they have to provide discounts on coupons issued by these companies and also pay a heavy commission fee to avail their services. These small restaurants are helpless against the VC-funded infrastructure built by Swiggy and Zomato. We have made Fastrack to solve this problem.

We have built an application that allows a person to manage their restaurant and delivery operations by offloading all technical tasks to our platform. We have built a multi-faceted application to empower these restaurant owners.

🍕 Order Status Overview: A Dashboard

Ever felt the frustration of not knowing where your precious orders are in the grand scheme of things? That's where the Dashboard steps in, orchestrating a real-time collaboration of order statuses, personnel updates, weekly income insights, and a live order feed.

🌮 Order Details Management: Because Every Detail Counts

Orders, orders, orders! Managing them can feel like a juggling act. Enter the Orders Page, your virtual assistant for handling all the nitty-gritty details—order IDs, items, statuses, amounts, timestamps, and delivery addresses. Say goodbye to order chaos and hello to order serenity.

🍟 Catalog Management: Spice Up Your Offerings

Updating your menu should be as smooth as creating a new recipe. The Catalogue page lets you sprinkle in new items, adjust prices, and update descriptions with the flair of a master chef. Keep your menu fresh and enticing, just like those sizzling dishes.

🥙 Delivery Management: Track Your Food

Don't know how to manage your fleet of carriers? Don't worry, we got you! A dedicated page for every order to track and update it's status. Now, you can see where each and every one of your carriers is and get real-time updates about their progress.

🍦 Order Page: The Buffet

Customers do not call to order; they BROWSE. An order page synced with your catalogue and delivery management is baked into our ecosystem. Now, you can share a website link to allow your customers to order their favourite dishes easily.

🤔 How was it built?

🚀 Outerbase

It is the most crucial part of this application. As Outerbase allowed us a technical developer and a non-technical designer to collaborate easily, it allowed us to solve the problem better as we could visualize every data we had.

It also boosted our productivity exponentially as we were able to use EZQL to generate SQL queries easily.

And most importantly the Commands feature allowed us to package multi-step processes (JavaScript → SQL → JavaScript) easily and make it easily accessible through API calls.

We were able to use this feature to automate every single interaction on our website by offloading everything to Outerbase Commands, such as updates on orders, progress of the carrier, new order alerts, etc.
